Last Call for the 29th Annual Webby Awards
The 29th Annual Webby Awards are still open for entries. This is your chance to shine alongside big names like Keke Palmer, SZA and Issa Rae. The Webby Awards are one of the most prestigious awards shows on the internet, recognizing excellence in websites, digital advertising, online video, podcasts, social media and more. Created in 1996 by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the awards recognize innovators and content creators who are making an impact on the digital world globally.

“Climate Coverage Trails” - Sessions 3 and 4
Journalists, content producers and communication students can still sign up for the Communication Dialogues program, with the “Climate Coverage Paths” season. The course has four online sessions. The first two have already taken place, but are still being recorded. The next ones will take place on the 12th and 13th, with topics such as combating climate misinformation and tools for climate coverage.

Call for indigenous education projects
The Casa Socioambiental Fund, in partnership with Imaginable Futures, announces the Call for Projects Education for Well-Being! This initiative, which is in its second edition, aims to strengthen indigenous education throughout Brazil, promoting equity and combating racism in schools, valuing indigenous languages, traditional knowledge and intercultural education. Support of up to R$50 thousand per project (R$1 million in total). Target audience: Indigenous community associations.

Nature Solution Projects
Registration for the Creative School + Nature Award has been extended until March 13. Those who register can compete for the R$12,000 prize and also participate in COP 30. The registered projects must promote connection with nature and present solutions to environmental challenges in schools and communities. Teams must be composed of teenagers from public, private or community schools, as well as collectives, movements, civil society organizations or educational institutions.

Scholarships of up to 90% for the Leaders Program
The Líderes Estudar 2025 Scholarship Program is now open for applications! If you are applying, have been accepted, or are already studying in Brazil or abroad, you can receive financial support and access to an exclusive community of +900 fellows. This will be the only application period in 2025, now with the Tech Fellow integrated into the program.

Belém will host a debate on fish production as a sustainable economic alternative for the Amazon. IFC Amazônia brings together experts to build pathways for regional development. Registration is open and free.

Grant for reporting on inclusive recycling
The Gabo Foundation and Latitud R are offering a $4,500 grant for journalists to investigate the challenges and opportunities of inclusive recycling in Latin America. The selected journalist will receive specialized mentoring and access to sources and databases.

Literary residency in the USA for journalists
The MacDowell Colony offers a free residency program in New Hampshire for journalists and visual artists to develop long-form projects. Those selected may receive grants and travel reimbursement.

Environmental Journalism Training Program
Folha de S. Paulo is accepting applications for the 69th Daily Journalism Training Program, focusing on environmental coverage. There are 20 vacancies available, with financial aid grants. Selection will be based on a test and resume analysis.

Workshop on Environmental Reporting
The Metcalf Institute is offering a Science Immersion Workshop for journalists interested in honing their environmental reporting skills. The workshop will be held in person at the University of Rhode Island, with support for climate change and adaptation.

Climate Partnerships Call
Casa dos Ventos is launching the Climate Partnerships Call for Proposals, with the aim of supporting socio-environmental projects in communities close to its operations. The call offers up to R$50,000 for initiatives aimed at sustainable development and combating climate change.

Free Immersion in Socio-Environmental Journalism
Raiz is a free immersion course in socio-environmental journalism for communicators from Manaus, focusing on coverage of COP-30 and climate justice. The training includes meetings with experts and is aimed at professionals with experience in journalistic production.

Scholarship Chair Choices in Economics and Environment
Masters students in Economics and related fields who were born in the Legal Amazon or enrolled in educational institutions in the region can apply for the scholarship program. Those selected will receive a monthly scholarship of R$2,520.00. The program prioritizes indigenous and Afro-descendant candidates in the selection process.

PPA Enraíza Notice
The call accepts indigenous or indigenist projects that promote climate adaptation, territorial protection or bioeconomy in the Alto Solimões region. Total investment of R$800,000 for up to two projects. Support for initiatives that combine innovation and traditional knowledge to face climate challenges in the Amazon.
