Registration open for the 3rd cycle of Amazônia Vox training

Journalists, communicators, educators and cultural producers can register for the 3rd Amazônia Vox training cycle. This edition is supported by the Itaú Foundation and will have a thematic focus, with the application of communication in the dissemination and appreciation of cultural initiatives and the strengthening of education.

Registration is now available through this form. By registering, participants will receive advance notice and all presentation materials, as well as a certificate of participation. The same form is used for webinars and closed sessions. Sign up here at this link.

Due to the high demand for the first and second editions, the third edition will have a new format, allowing more people to follow the debates. There will be two live webinars broadcast on the Amazônia Vox YouTube channel and four closed sessions for communicators who have previously registered.

All sessions will be at 7:30 pm, Brasília time. The journey begins on October 15th, with a special webinar on Teacher's Day. The second webinar will also be themed, focusing on National Culture Day, on November 5th.

The closed sessions will be in the format of workshops, with practical cases and instruments for practical application of tools. They also focus on the connection between communication, culture and education and will be held on the 22nd and 29th of October and on the 12th and 19th of November.

For the closed sessions, there will be only 100 vacancies, with selection taking into account ethnic-racial, gender and territorial diversity. Participants will be chosen from each state of the Legal Amazon: Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Roraima, Rondônia, Pará, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Maranhão.

Amazon Vox - The platform brings together a Bank of Amazonian Knowledge Sources and a network of freelance communications professionals from the region. It also produces journalistic content based on Solutions Journalism, showcasing local initiatives and voices that are responding to the challenges of the region. The project was developed with the support of the Bem da Amazônia Institute. Amazônia Vox is also supported by International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), through the Knight Fellow global scholarship.
