During the founding meeting of the Amazon chapter of the Brazilian Association of Business Communication (Aberje), held this Tuesday (29), in Belém, the Amazônia Vox platform was presented by the president of the Bem da Amazônia Institute and creator of the project, Daniel Nardin. In addition to representatives from Aberje, the event brought together directors of communication agencies, corporate communication departments from several companies operating in the Amazon and journalists from press outlets in the capital.
During the dialogue with professionals, mediated by Aberje’s Executive Director, Hamilton dos Santos, the proposal for the Amazônia Vox platform was presented. This initiative is supported by the Bem da Amazônia Institute and creates an Amazon Sources Bank, a network of freelance communications professionals and produces content about the region with Solutions Journalism. “The world is talking about the Amazon and is very interested in learning more. We seek to connect those who produce knowledge and know how to generate content with those who are looking for this information and these contacts. By doing so, we are promoting a greater plurality of voices and the participation of voices from the Amazon in the narratives produced about the region,” highlighted Daniel Nardin.
Also present at the event were Cleide Pinheiro, founding partner of TEMPLE; Elis Ramos, Corporate Communications Manager at Vale; and Paulo Nassar, CEO of Aberje and Full Professor at ECA-USP.
